i just received my order of norton antivirus 2007 disks and there, on a very red label, is a warning that the software is ONLY usable on windows xp and NOT for vista. i visitied the symantec site and found a 40 meg download for vista. i called symantec and they confirmed that to install nav 2007 on vista you need to download this 40 meg installation each and every time you want to install it! let's see... 50 installs times 40 megs each... there has to be a better way... are you guys at symantec listening? is it true? can you make a full download available to copy on a flash drive? please, please, oh please don't make me download this installation 50 times...
I have had nothing but bad experiences with Norton Antivirus.
40 installs? If you're doing this, then you probably need the Symantec Corporate edition (which is actually pretty godo), not the Norton product.

negrons,
I don't know who you talked to at Symantec, but they're bonkers. I downloaded the Vista version, put it on a network drive and installed it on multiple machines. All I did was click on save instead of run, and it works fine.

negrons,
OK, here the skinny. What I did was download the trial version. When you install it, you can use your current key which will activate the trial version. Using this process will eliminate the requirement to do 40 downloads.
