Can't see all computers on network

All of the computers on our network are able to access the internet through our network router, but 2 of the computers can't see/connect to 2 out of 4 computers on the network.

What's the operating systems? There used to be incompatibilites between Windows 98 and XP. I've seen the same in Windows 2000 Pro and XP Home networks.

Is this a peer-to-peer network, or a domain?

First thing I would check is whether they are all set to use the same workgroup name. For example, if two of the computers are running Windows XP Home Edition, they will be in workgroup MSHOME, while two othe computers running Windows XP Professional will be in a workgroup named WORKGROUP.

HTH,

Enable file and print sharing in the Firewall. If you are running XP SP2 this is most likely your issue.

To test this, just turn off the firewall on the machines you cannot see. Then look for them on the other machines.
