Thanks for the help

I had posted something back in January about drop-down menus and received a lot of good advice. Just wanted to follow up and say I took Marc's advice (west7th) and got Dreamweaver. It didn't take long to convert me - I'm now a huge fan! Our new website is now complete, up and running. Check it out if you'd like... comments are welcome. This is my first website. It was a lot of fun and a great learning experience. http://www.accredit-id.org

fider,

~ Very nice site! ~ Clean, easy to navigate, nice drop downs :-) Loads quickly..great job!

Tidbit: Form on contact page

see Wufoo.com. Simply create the form online, it generates the code and then paste the code on your site. VERY SIMPLE and one of the BEST and NEWEST hosted apps I've seen. I now use on all client sites. Perfect for NP's!

Thanks for the compliments. It was a lot of fun and Dreamweaver certainly takes some of the mystery out of it.

I am checking out Wufoo. Just out of curiosity, can you tell me what the benefit of doing a form is?

Fider,

Just one way to learn more about your users/visitors.

It's a good idea to give the visitor every option/opportunity to communicate with you.

Best,

ODEO.com let's your site visitors leave you a voicemail if they like. I've used on several campaign sites and the response was great.

HINT: After creating your account go to your PROFILE and you'll see the "(put this on your site)" link...

I have been playing with the Wufoo forms, but I can't seem to get it to work right for users in IE. Have you ran into this problem? The confirmation page doesn't show up unless the user hits the refresh button.

Here is where I have the form (bottom of page) http://www.accredit-id.org/accredmanual.html. Right now I'm using the free addition - was planning to get a paid subscription if the boss is happy with it.

Thanks,

Are you "embedding" the form on your page or directing folks to the URL that Wufoo creates for you?
=============================================

I haven't run into that bug. I test all my forms on IE, FF and NS and they worked fine...dunno. :cwm11;

If that continues, I'd suggest emailing the Wufoo Team. They'll get back to you within 24 hours.

I'm directing to the URL that Wufoo creates. I'll keep playing with it and email Wufoo for help.

I use the IFRAME tag to embed the form on my pages...

I haven't had any issues when doing this.

Try using the "Add this form to your site" link and grab the code for your page, then simply paste it where you want your form to appear.
