Getting around a wireless firewall

I live in an apartment complex where I use the free wireless provided.

I just started a little company but haven't been able to connect to my website host because I'm behind a firewall...

I don't know how to get around this and the person who has control of the wireless router is regularly unavailable.

Is there a way to do it from my computer?? Or am I out of luck?

You would have to contact the admin of the firewall to have them make an exception in the firewall for you to connect to what you are trying to connect to. That would be the easiest way to get what you need accomplished.

You could setup a tunnel with Putty and proxy through that.
