need GOOD email software recommend for Mac

MS Outlook and Entourage don't display URLs as hotlinked on PCs. Microsoft's techsupport acknowledges this, saying their email programs aren't fully HTML.Netscape does the job, but is way too slow in sending out 1,200 emails. I'm willing to pay for email software (obviously not too much), because the limitations I've seen from free stuff confound me.Any recommendations? Am using Mac OS 9.2 on an iMac.

There are some Mac email programs mentioned in this other TechSoup discussion: Email address management in large recipient emails. Some of them are stand-alone programs and some aren't.

hello ... it's been a few years since this was posted and I'm wondering what you ended up using? I need to change from Eudora to something that is better supported for mac but has many mailbox features and a good search engine.
