I belong to a membership group that frequently emails large subgroups within the total membership. We've been having problems with our ISP in that they limit the number of email addresses you can send an email to (which is smaller than this subgroup). Someone recommended GroupMail as a solution to this. Has anyone used this? Does anyone have another solution to our problem? Thanks!

I use eNewsletter Manager which is similar to GroupMail. It sends an individual e-mail to each address, which can be personalized with the recipient's name, using our in-house mail server.
Another benefit of sending out individual e-mails is that it cuts down on the file size of the e-mail you're sending.

I use GroupMail for our organization. I find it very easy to use and have had no problems with it. One of the features that is to send e-mails directly instead of using your ISP's smtp server. That would allow you to bypass the problem you are having. If you go to purchase it, contact them first. They do offer a discount for non-profits.

Thanks for both of these options - it's good to hear that GroupMail has a non-profit discount!
