[TECH STOCK] Crystal Reports XI = awesome bargain

I see that TechSoup Stock now offers Crystal Reports. I haven't played with this new version, but the old versions totally rock.

This program is an absolute must for anyone wanting to create custom reports beyond the "canned" reports accounting software vendors typically provide. Long story short, I asked a company's DB dude for a dump of several different databases, and in a few hours (with the help of the CFO and a couple of his beancounter minions) I was able to make some very cool looking reports for the CEO and shareholders.

Any others have success stories?

Holy cow! I haven't bought new software in a while, but with Crystal, I could automate and make a lot of stuff a lot easier. Thanks for the tip.

That is great! We are still using Crystal 8.5, but hopefully soon we will purchase CR-XI now that TS has it!
