&lt;p&gt;The After-School Corporation (TASC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving all kids opportunities to grow through after-school and summer programs that support, educate and inspire them. TASC&amp;rsquo;s vision is that kids from all backgrounds will have access to the range of high quality activities beyond the school day that every family wants for their children: experiences that support their intellectual, creative and healthy development and help them to be their best, in and out of school.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Institutional Advancement is the fundraising and communications arm of TASC, raising approximately $4 million annually in support of TASC&amp;rsquo;s strategic objectives and programs, and communicating TASC&amp;rsquo;s objectives to national constituencies. Reporting to the Director of Communications and working closely with the President and senior organizational leadership, the Web Communications Manager will play a key strategic and creative communications and community-building role, and will perform specific tasks including, but not limited to those listed below.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Responsibilities:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Develop electronic communications strategies and practices with senior organizational leadership, and lead the implementation of on-line media strategies to build visibility, advance our work with partners and policymakers and achieve our organizational objectives&lt;br /&gt;
- Lead creative process for all online publications and art direction for online and offline publications; design selected publications&lt;br /&gt;
- Manage daily electronic communications functions, including but not limited to: design and maintenance (including back-end functions) of TASC Web site and extranet; editing selected content; creating and managing listservs and media outreach; managing email campaign database and list segmentation; designing and distributing e-newsletters and specialized email communications; and deploying online tools for advocacy campaigns, marketing, fundraising and targeted communications&lt;br /&gt;
- Plan and maintain content, look and flow of Web site and consistent organizational image for TASC across electronic and print communications materials&lt;br /&gt;
- Advise all divisions of TASC on electronic communications strategies and development and operation of online projects, including social media&lt;br /&gt;
- Manage Web site vendors&lt;br /&gt;
- Oversee web-based registration system&lt;br /&gt;
- Oversee production of printed materials&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Qualifications:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Bachelor&amp;rsquo;s degree and 3 years or more relevant work experience&lt;br /&gt;
- Strong project management skills and ability to work in a team&lt;br /&gt;
- Experience with web design and knowledge of: HTML, XHTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, FTP clients, Flash, Photoshop, open-source content management, etc.&lt;br /&gt;
- Ability to manage complex projects with attention to overall strategy and fine detail&lt;br /&gt;
- Experience working with partner organizations on an issue campaign&lt;br /&gt;
- Strong understanding of list segmentation, email delivery, and response tracking&lt;br /&gt;
- Experience managing large email lists and email blast communications&lt;br /&gt;
- Familiarity with online organizing practices, including social network and blogger outreach, overall user trends and habits&lt;br /&gt;
- Experience with online marketing, viral and social media and social communities&lt;br /&gt;
- Knowledge of Web 2.0 applications and SEO&lt;br /&gt;
- Experience working with web development consultants&lt;br /&gt;
- Experience with event management tool systems and administration&lt;br /&gt;
- Experience in print publication creation/design and strong skills with Quark/InDesign&lt;br /&gt;
- Excellent writing and editing skills&lt;br /&gt;
- Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in creating content appropriate for online and offline distribution&lt;br /&gt;
- Strong interpersonal skills, integrity and professional discretion&lt;/p&gt;
