&lt;p class="q-details"&gt;EngenderHealth is recruiting for a Technology and Information Specialist to plan, create, and manage Engender Health&amp;rsquo;s main web site, as well as its discussion forums and social network channels and ensure that they meet professional standards for coherence, navigation, and design. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Engender Health&amp;rsquo;s site works across an unusually broad range of web browsers, from high-bandwidth connections and the latest browsers (as is common in the U.S. and other developed nations), to low-bandwidth high-latency connections and older computers (as is common in remote and less-developed regions of the world). The TID Specialist will also be instrumental in planning, designing, constructing and implementing EngenderHealth knowledge management strategy and design. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Bachelor&amp;rsquo;s degree in web design, digital media, communications, or a related field required &lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;3+ years of web development experience, including expertise in all aspects of web site development and maintenance. &lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;Expert knowledge in XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one server-side programming language such as PHP, Perl, JSP, .NET, etc. &lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;Dreamweaver coding experience preferred &lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;Relational databases (such as MySQL) required; XML/XSL experience a plus &lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;Browser design experience required, experience with low-bandwidth countries a plus; web development for mobile devices is a plus &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Only local NYC metro candidates will be considered, as there are no relocation funds. Must be authorized to work in the US.  &lt;br /&gt;
