I've have used this site: http://www.royaltyfreemusic.com/free-music-program/. You can get some free music/sound clips. It's a subscription service to access their full array. They say they have a program for education that offers free subscriptions. We're not an educational organization, so I haven't applied. Good luck.

A good place to start would be by searching for Creative Commons-licensed media that you can use for free. Their audio section also has quite a few resources that might help.

I run a video training program for middle and high-school students. They want to post their work, but cannot because they do not have licensing for the music they are currently using. Where can we download free (as in royalty, licensing etc) music for them to use in their videos?
