Best of luck,

Gary

*edit* I gave this advice with the assumption that you have windows XP installed. If you have Vista, please let us know.

Toshiba Laptops

I have a Toshiba laptop a Satellite U405-S2918.

The problem I’m having is that when I connect my flat screen monitor to it and close the laptop there is no display on the monitor screen I notice this only happens with the Toshiba brands. This doesn’t happen with the hp or Compaq that I have. I can’t even connect a projector to if I do I have to leave the laptop open.

I went to the display settings and change it from #1 is laptop and #2 is monitor and all that but nothing is working, just wondering if it’s something else I’m missing or is it just the Toshiba Brands.

Thanks Usef
