&lt;p&gt;So glad you brought this up! Actually, Ben Rigby, who is behind this effort just hosted our &lt;a href="http://forums.techsoup.org/cs/tags/mobile+event/default.aspx"&gt;recent online event on mobile activism&lt;/a&gt;. I attended his session on mobile volunteering at NTC and found it to be very worthwhile. I think there&amp;#39;s some really exciting potential with mobile, but it also presents some new challenges when it comes to volunteer management. There&amp;#39;s been some debate in the blogosphere about this, but I&amp;#39;d be curious to hear your take on it.&lt;/p&gt;
