I contacted Intuit Canada regarding free software to Canadian charities as posted on TechSoup. They claim to know nothing about it. Is this an Intuit US initiative?

Hi Drew,
At this time, TechSoup Stock's relationship is with Intuit, Inc., not Intuit Canada. We are proud to serve Canadian organizations directly through our
U.S.-based Intuit Donation Program.
Our selection of QuickBooks products available for donation will be expanding within the next couple of months, so please check back.
Also, for the record, the software we offer through our Intuit Donation Program is not completely "free" as each product does carry a small administrative fee.
For more information about placing orders for Canadian Organizations, please check out the TechSoup Stock FAQ:

For complete Intuit Program restrictions, please see:

Thank you,
Sarah
I'm based in Whistler BC and purchased a few copies of Quicken 2004 premier to upgrade our 2002 version we got with our PC when we bought it. You cannot download transactions as Quicken gives an OL-227-A error "account is not in US dollars". Unless there is a workaround I haven't found, this software is not usable in Canada. Perhaps Techsoup could make a note of that on the website.
Hi,
I apologize for the inconvenience. Please go ahead and send the software back to us for a refund. I'll also ask our site content team to look into the software requirements and put up a notice in the product page if necessary.
Thanks,
Clement
