OpenNP is a start-up Sourceforge project to develop a complete Suite of the web based applications needed to run the "business" of a non-profit organization. It anticipates using existing opensource applications, modified or augmented as necessary, to create collection of Modules comprising the OpenNP applications.
We're especially interested in determining:
* Is the Sourceforge venue appropriate for this
this type of effort?
* Is this project a duplication of existing efforts?
* if there is developer interest in in this project?
* Any comments, pro or con on the concept.

Any comments or directions appreciated.
This is an interesting idea. Have you actually started envisioning what platform this software would be built on? I noticed the page you set up on sourceforge says the project will rely on PHP. Do you plan on customizing one of the many PHP-based
office suites or
financial programs already available? Or would it just be easier for you to start from scratch?
