Easy and Quick Donor Software?

We are a small performing arts nonprofit. In fact, it's a one-person office. We currently use GiftWorks and QuickBooks. We're looking to:

• Accept donations online and have them integrate with donor software.
• Donor software must integrate with QuickBooks.

The second part of this is our concert ticket sales which we currently enter one-by-one into QuickBooks. Is there a software package that would track both donations and ticket sales?

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

A great resource for learning about inexpensive donor databases is Idealware's "Consumers Guide to Low Cost Donor Management Systems"  It's a 2-part report that reviews 30 inexpensive systems, and then goes into great detail about the ones they identified as their top 10.  Among the features it covers is whether the databases include integrated online payment processing, integration with QuickBooks, and ticketing.

There have been a couple of previous discussions here about integrated fundraising/ticketing systems (and systems that are separate but talk to each other).  They'll provide the names of some vendors to look at, but no details:

Once you identify a few systems that look worthwhile, search for them here -- they may have been discussed already.

I am a little puzzled by your question. GiftWorks has a donations online module that you can add to the program, and GiftWorks integrates with QuickBooks. It looks to me like you already have all you need. Check out the Mission Research Web site for more information.
