I'm developing the open, free World University and School, - like Wikipedia with MIT Open Course Ware.

I'm looking for free, open web video with slide show presentation software which I might post to World Univ & Sch Freeware 'educational software?' - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Educational_Software

On the free side, are you looking for the presentation side to be free or the presentation and creation side to be free.

There are many free viewers that require paid tools to create content. 

Word power point viewer

Photodex Proshow

Standard JPEG slide show tools for web.

Microsoft save to html in power point etc.

Open office save in power point format.

Not making any claim on the suitability or ease of use here.

I'm looking for an all in one arrangement, kind of like justin.tv which allows for live broadcasting, but where you can save the lectures and add slides. But those are great suggestions.

What about DimDim?  They have various hosted versions, plus a FOSS version http://www.dimdim.com/opensource/dimdim_open_source_community_edition.html

The demo didn't make it clear how I would save and stream a 40 minute lecture like in the economic's lecture example above, but it looks eminently doable with this software. Thanks!
