Cannot start Microsoft office outlook 2007

Cannot start Microsoft office outlook. Cannot open the outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. Errors have been detected.

Try creating a new Outlook Profile and see if that will allow you to run Outlook.  That will only let you get to Outlook if your old profile is corrupted.  If you need to try and recover mail items, contacts, calendar entries etc, you might need some PST file repair software.  There are a few posts here on TechSoup that already address these here.
