Fundraising for Intl. NGO's

I was hoping to add the Causes applicaton to my Facebook page in order to raise funds for a playgrond for an international NGO in southeast Asia. However, it states that you can only start a cause for any US or Canadian non-profit.  Does anyone know how I can use Facebook to raise funds for NGO's overseas? Thanks!

Check out this great organization that does just this.  Find it at www.christmasfuture.org.  It preapprroves grassroots community development projects in communities around the world accomplished through carefully screened organizations.  They then can fund raise for those projects through this online fundraising platform that the organization CF developed.  All the projects are listed on the website, you choose which one you want to support.  If you have ideas of organizations send an email.

Please post a link to the information on christmasfuture.org that describes how a non-US/Canada NGO can use Facebook. I could not find any information on the site about it, and that is what the original poster is asking about.
