Hello Usef, to properly diagnose your problem, I'll need more information from you.

  1. Bios type
  2. Computer brand
  3. Computer Model Number
  4. Any recent changes you may have made

A quick google search yielded 9 long beeps as being a faulty ROM chip if you have an AMI bios.  Because there are so many different bios' there is no uniform beep code.  Hope this helps.

Best of luck,

Gary

Here is a link to the manual for your computer.  It should be able to help you troubleshoot your issue.  According to the manual you have some sort of power issue and to check the voltage selection on the back of the power supply.  If that doesn't work, they recommend changing out the motherboard or the processor.  $$$$$  Did you change out the ROM chip before or after the problem started?

I think you are talking about RAM.  The ROM chip is much different as it is not an easily removed part.
