Has anyone used a ms access backend stored on a samba share with multiple users? Did it cause any problems? Thanks!

How many users? Bob alston might have better input on this, but I've had a couple simultaneous users before without "extra" issue. By "extra" issue I mean I haven't had issues beyond the normal multi-user Access issues.

5 users is no problem.
What kind of data entry are we talking about?

I don't quite get what you mean by type of data entry. Could you give me an example Rog. Currently I have the backend on a windows 2k server share and it is working fine. I was a little scared to move it to a samba share. The front end gets copied to the c drive of the workstations when there are updates.
