Dreamweaver and Fireworks

Is it possible to run Dreamweaver and/or Fireworks from a flash drive?  I don't always want to take my computer with me on vacation, but in the rare case there is a problem with the website, I'd like to be able to fix it remotely.  I wouldn't be able to install the software on the hotel computer.

Without going into all the messy details, you don't want to go down that road.

Check this out these USB-based WYSIWYG programs instead. (More of these tools here)

I concur with Rog.  Current versions of Dreamweaver and Fireworks are now activated to a single machine anyhow.  You would be required to de-activate before activating on another computer.  You'd have to de-activate and activate everytime you wanted to use the software on another computer.

It could also be worth considering that fewer hotels nowadays provide USB-enabled computers in the hotel business center - I travel a fair bit, and would estimate less than half the hotels I stay in provide this... and even when they do, you can't be guaranteed of getting a machine when you want one.

Maybe  a small Laptop pre-loaded with your editor of choice  (even second-hand) is an option?

Thanks guys.  I'll check out suggestions.  I would only need it if fellow employee died or something about that dire.

Just for the record, I do have 2 full, legit copies of DW and Fireworks.  I was hoping to take old version with me.  This is major personal vacation, and I plan on doing everything I can to NOT do work.

Oh, then perhaps all you need to do is install LogMeIn (or some such remote control software) on the computer where you might have to do work.  The free versions of these products usually provide enough functionality for most needs.
