Looking for a shared address book

Hi,

We use MS Outlook for email, and are way too small to implement Exchange.  However, we really would love to have a 'real' corporate address book, so we can share both internal and external contacts.

Is there anything out there?  Anything free?  Anything reasonably priced?  A shared calendar would also be great, though it looks like we could use Google calendar.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Not free, but we've implemented it in a small 3-person lawyer's office with good results.  Code Two Public Folders.  I learned about it on another post here at Tech Soup

You could actually build your own LDAP server and pull from that.

Tell us a bit more about your setup, and maybe we can direct you further.  Or perhaps google a bit on LDAP solutions and see what fits.

Googling, I see some interesting hits for Thunderbird.Slipstick has some great options, as well (which I suspect better fits what you need).

I'm guessing that this free solution scratches your itch.

Let us know what you decide on!
