Responding to Online Criticism: The Air Force Approach

Today on the TechSoup Blog, we considered the U.S. Air Force's strategy for responding to online complaints and criticism.

I'll begin this thread the same way I ended the blog post: what would happen if you began your next fundraising letter with the story of a time your nonprofit was wrong about something, and how you changed?

Have a good week,
Elliot

Thanks, Elliot.

If I received a letter like this, I'd be intrigued and pleased. It has also been my experience in for profit that people don't mind mistakes as much as they mind not being communicated with.

Best wishes,

Sasha

Hi everyone,

I'm reviving this topic because we just published a similar blog post.

Does your organization have a social media policy for employees?

Cheers,
Elliot
