Anyone use a Wiki?

I'm considering setting up a private wiki for internal functions, mainly since the fledging non-profit is health-based, so we'd like an in-house database of information for potential associates and new team members, etc. How have others gone about setting one up? Are wikis good for businesses?

We actually had a recent discussion on wikis and intranets, which you may find helpful. We also have several articles on wikishere and here that can help you see how to set up and use a wiki.

I personally have used several different wikis here at TechSoup and for some volunteer work and I definitely recommend them as a good, informal way of sharing information.
