hi
my name is karan and i m using a airtel broadband connection 128kbps plan with unlimited download. i try to play online game fifa07 through hamachi network. when i play the game lags alot. when i ask other people who play dere they say 128kbps speed is enuff to play
though i have tried 512kbps also but in that too the game lags. my ping is usually high . i dont know what to do. my modem is of company beetel 220BX ADSL2. i dont know whether its modem/router though it looks like a modem.
like right now my comp has a ping of 1100.
help me guyz

Karan, Are you in India? while 128K DSL is better then dialup speeds, it sounds like your problem is in network latency, this is normally where "lag" comes in when your talking about gaming. Is the server you connecting to in another country or area? Have you tried to connect to other game servers? A ping time of 1100 is pretty high to expect to play a real time online game like FIFA. Normally you would want this to be around maybe 300-400 max.
Also while you are playing FIFA, are there any other computers on the network at the same time? This would effect network latency as well. Also any file or music sharing programs that maybe running while your connected to the gaming server.
VPN into a different network and then play a game?
Going into a backdoor and play commercial games without paying for it.
I dont think this is a good site to ask for help on this topic.
