Need ideas for sponsorship project

I'm doing some volunteer web development for a nonprofit humanitarian org. The project involves 100+ orphans needing sponsors for school. There are photos, brief bios. The goal is to allow visitors to select a child/children and make online sponsorship payments using our PayPal link.
I've got a few ideas jotted down, but would appreciate some brainstorming, suggestions. Thanks.
