Are there sites that help estimate the worth of computers and equipment being donated to determine the amount for tax purposes?
What I've done in the past is look up market value using eBay or other auction sites. You will want to check with your CPA for the clearest understanding of the current laws as well.

I would google the piece of equipment by model number. For example: try typing "used hp 1234 printer" Find 3 sites that sell the item and average the prices you find.

Definitely talk to your CPA, your ED or your auditor to find out the method they will accept - it's not really a technical issue, it's about the finance rules.

I would suggest not doing this.
We do thank-you letters spelling out what people donated and tell them they have to establish the value.
If they get audited, they have to support the amount they set. If you set the value, you are going to be dragged to the audit and forced to justify the value you set. That's more grief than I want for most of the stuff we get donated.
Agency policy prohibits us from placing a value on non-cash contributions, which makes it easier for me to do what I think is best.
I refer people to finished auctions on eBay as one way to establish the value of what they are donating.
