Through one of my many e-newsletters, I saw mention of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure for Electronic Discovery; that they are expected to change on 1 December 2006. The newsletter said "Read how the adoption of these changes will have significant implications for records management and electronic discovery procedures."
This is new to me; does anyone have comments on how non-profits will be impacted? I'm guessing that the size of the organization will also matter.
Here is a place to start:

To refresh this thread .... I came across a way to Journal in Exchange 2003 - it's a means to archive all incoming and outgoing email that passes through a mailbox store. Not really sure if we need to be in full compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and the Electronic Commerce Act, I'm thinking of setting up my Exchange server to do this so at least I'm doing something.
Any comments?

I would like to know what other non-profits are doing for email archiving - any tip and suggestions?
In the past I've used a tool called Alchemy.
