When do you think you will be getting more Adobe Creative Suite Premium for Widows software in? If it says that it's out of stock do you usually get more in?

thank you

I'm very interested in purchasing the web bundle, so I also hope more will be in stock soon.

As soon as I learned about the adobe products, I wanted to get approval for one of the suites so I can get it this fiscal year, so I would be able to get 4 of the individual products we also need next fiscal year (since the limit is so low for these products)

I hope Adobe will stock some more soon - many orginizations have 2 choices, deeply discounted products from techsoup or nothing - since if we have to spend a lot of software, I'm told to find another way instead.

I would like to suggest that there is another choice besides "discounted products from techsoup or nothing" depending on the type of application you are looking for.

Please ask about other possibilities for specific applications and you may be surprised what is available. One that we hear a lot is an alternative to Adobe Acrobat and there are a number of choices that may provide what you need.

Ditto. I work with Photoshop alot, and to get that bundle will help immensely in the project we've taken on.

Well yes, I was being a little over dramatic with the "discounted products or nothing".

For us, we design our own brouchers and such, and we have always been "fighting" with our printer since what we have always used (MS Publisher) does not work too well for him, so our colors and such don't match up too well with what we designed.

The printer strongly suggests Adobe InDesign, and we have recently purchsed a full copy of the program (before it was available here) - and only then because after we told the board that we needed the software, an "annonomous" donation appeared for the exact amount of the software to be used for the software.

Anyway, we were so happy to hear we might be able to get cheaper copies here so everyone does not have to run to just 1 computer when they need to look at what has been done and such. Of course then we learned it would be very limited to just 4 copies, or 1 suite a year which calmed us down a little. So we decided to purchase the 1 suite this year, then after june/july, we could get 4 copies of the inDesign.

Of course now all the suites are out of stock, but there are still some indesign licenses left - So now I can either hope more suites will be available soon to stick with our already approved plan, or reverse the plan and purchase 4 inDesigns now and wait to get the suite next fiscal year.

tccs, I noticed you stated in your last post

"so everyone does not have to run to just 1 computer when they need to look at what has been done and such."

You might want to have your graphic person save a copy to a PDF document (make sure you use some form of version identification in the file name) so anyone can look at any document in acrobat reader and print a copy if needed, then you will eliminate congestion at the one pc and eliminate the risk of people changing things on documents when they shouldn't.

Yes, i know there are ways like that so others can view the product, but the "such" is things like editing and add/changing small stuff - normally the department managers who know more of the details about their areas.

To keep doing things as we do without is what we are already doing, the point is that to have more copies is the ultimate solution - one of the reasons we have been using microsoft Publisher up until now - it is part of the Office 2003 suite and already loaded on most of their computers.

Indesign and photoshop are not easy to learn products and graphic design is a highly creative and skilled field. I know in my environment we would have a real mess if anyone other than the graphic designer tried to edit documents.

How do you keep your users from messing up the files? What did you do for training?

I've just learned recently about TechSoup and was disappointed to see that the Adobe Premium CS2 was out of stock. I am a graphic designer. Using MS Publisher for our graphics documents is nothing short of frustrating and tedious. We have complex forms to design and a web site to get launched. Since I am already an advanced user on all the software in that suite it would be to my organization's best advantage to have it. Of course this donation program could make that happen. Will there be more of this product available in the future? Is there a time when supplies will be replenished?
