Take a look at www.Mapbuilder.net

They have a fairly simple import feature and a decent UI for adding locations with descriptions.

Working example: View map

Nice folks too.

Help!

My google map isn't working now.
For me, when logged in it works, but caseworkers, clients and co-workers need to use it as well.

When someone types in an address, and clicks search maps, the polygons that are used to show people what their local program is disappears off of the map completely.

Who can i go to at Google for this besides the group forums?

Your best bet is likely to go to http://www.google.com/apis/maps/ and click on help or the API Discussion Group. It might help if you posted the URL of the map that you are having a problem with here so someone could look at it and see if they can figure out the problem or determine a solution.
