Re: our org is not eligible for Adobe products?
Hi mizdee, I see that you've already spoken with one of my colleagues in customer service. The Adobe donation program is indeed very popular but also one of our smallest programs and available to a relatively small percentage of organizations that register with TechSoup Stock. If you have not...

Re: Microsoft eligibility
Hello Autumn We are also having a problem ordering MS products. I tried to order office2008 for MAC and was told at checkout that we are not eligible. We are long time supporters and cheerleaders for Techsuop /Techstock. We never had problem in the past so I was not anticipating a problem when I planned...

Re: qualify to purchase donated software?

Re: Ordering Limitation
Terry, Microsoft is the the only major donation program that does not work on the fiscal year. Microsoft eligibility and donation cycles are based entirely on the date of your first Microsoft request. For more information, please read the Microsoft FAQ: http://www.techsoup.org/stock/ms_program_faq...

Re: Microsoft guidlines clarification
Hi Rob, You can request different Microsoft Office products. for example: Office Professional Plus 2003 and Office Professional Plus 2007 are considered the same product, but Office Standard 2007 and Office Professional Plus 2007 are considered different products and you should be able to request...

Re: How do i create an account for our other office branches
Hello! First, in order to determine if the other locations within your organization are eligible for their own account with TechSoup, please verify the following: Does each branch offer the same services? The locations should have similar programming that serve more than one distinct sector such...

I need the latest version of Microsoft Office for Mac, but Microsoft requires that we order a minimum of 5 items. My nonprofit, Rainbow Women's Chorus, is very small, only about 18 singers, and we don't really need five items -- we don't even have an office! The most I can legitimately squeeze...

Blocked from software purchase
Today I attempted to purchase a software product offered through the TechSoup Stock program. During the process, a message indicated my organization was not eligible for the purchase. As suggested, I checked the eligibility requirements for the vendor (Symantec). Our organization qualified based upon...

Re: Why no response?
Hello BK, You happen to be contacting us via email during our busiest time of year (the end of the fiscal year) and though we do our best to respond in as timely a manner as possible, we are not always able to respond to emails as quickly as we would like. At any time, if you have an urgent issue...

Hello! TechSoup Stock itself does not have any restrictions on how much or how often you can request products. It is based entirely on the individual software donations program restrictions and guidelines. It sounds like you are referring to the Microsoft Donation Program. Unless you max out...

Re: MyFax Issue: Unable to Order
Hi Martin, When reviewing any program restrictions it is very important to remember which Organization Type and Subtype is listed on your account. It may be that your organization is eligible, but that the particular subtype chosen is not on the list of eligible organizations. For example, the subtype...

Re: Restrictions on Adobe Products
There are a few things that you can look into. First, I would check the Adobe Special Donation Program . It doesn't have CS5, but it has quite a few CS4 products. If that doesn't have anything that you can use, have a look at our Quick Guide to Discounted Software Programs , which has a variety...

TechSoup Stock Tips: #2 Fiscal Year End!
As many of you know, the end of the fiscal year is coming up quickly. We get many questions at this time of year so I thought it would be great to address some of them here! Christmas in July! (Well, June.) For TechSoup Stock, the month of June is like Christmas. This means that lines are...

Hi Bruce, At this time, the software donation program is available only to 501(c)(3) organization and public libraries: http://www.techsoup.org/stock/faq.asp#q2_1 . There are, however, many many resources on our website which could be beneficial to all nonprofits. Below are some TechSoup links which...

I'm having the same problem. We're trying to purchase Adobe Web Design Premium and it's saying that we're not qualified. We did already purchase one copy of it (having been "qualified") and need another one. Since it's a new fiscal year, I thought it would be fine but it...

Re: stock not available to churches
Adrien, Churches with 501(c)(3) status are certainly eligible for a number of the donation programs through TechSoup Stock (list provided below) but organizations that are strictly faith-based will be limited to certain donation programs.
