Adobe Flash is a web technology that has been around for the last 20 years, enabling you to play video and other web-based content in your browser. However, security experts and major tech giants have criticised Adobe for failing to keep Flash a secure technology. A few years ago I posted about Flash's security vulnerabilities and Adobe losing the battle to newer and more secure standards like HTML 5.

I really want to cheer. I've seen too many Flash updates or links that wouldn't run due to Flash version mismatch.
