Your work is vital. We are raising funds to support it.
A consultant regarding volunteer management recently asked on Twitter about webinar software. Several people weighed in, including me. Here is the thread.
I wrote that it depends on the person's definition of "good" and their budget. I suggested WebEx, Zoom (which we use at Knowbility) and ReadyTalk (which TechSoup uses for webinars), and added, "I love tools that allow polling, to switch between user screens, chat windows, & to mute everyone but the presenter."
Another person said "We just stopped using WebinarJam -- I don't recommend it -- too unstable. We moved to Zoom because it's simple and participants can see each other's chat. But, it will require some integration to work with our CRM. GoToWebinar is very solid, but Ps can't chat with one another"
And another person said, "I kindly suggest checking out Live Storm: all the features you'd expect from a reliable webinar software plus the marketing tools (analytics, integrations) and better user experience meaning more people actually showing up to your webinar!"
What webinar software have you used, and what did you like or dislike about it?
