Your work is vital. We are raising funds to support it.
My office has a Vertical SBX IP 320 phone system. During a recent power outage our system was reset to factory settings. Incoming calls can no longer dial extensions. After trying to find answers in the user manuals online, I think the phones need to be reprogrammed, but I do not have the expertise to understand the instructions. We have a request out to a local telecom provider and are waiting to hear back. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Or is this something that we need an expert for?
Yes, you need an expert, or someone that has experience with phone systems.
Phone system manuals are more complicated than any computer manual I have seen in my 30+ years of working with computers.
A computer person may be able to help you to some extent since you have the manuals, but you should really have a phone person help you.
Thanks! We finally found someone willing to work on our phone system, so fingers-crossed we'll be up and running again soon.
