My TechSoup account is associated with several nonprofits. I can shop using their accounts, but what I would like to do is create a shopping cart of items, and then somehow, move the cart into their account, so that they can review and make the actual purchase. They really just need me to make sure that they're ordering the correct product. Is there a post about how I can do that? Thanks!
Shopping carts are tied to the account you are logged in with, and cannot be transferred to another account. However, I can understand what are are hoping to do and have a couple of other ideas that might help.
Each product has a product ID listed at the top with the other details. This ID number can be pasted into search to help locate the specific product. The search results are likely to bring up related products as well, so if you provide the exact product name and product ID, this will help to locate the specific item.
You could also provide the direct link to the product with instructions as to the quantity to add to the cart and check out with.
I know this isn't exactly what you were hoping to do, but I hope this helps.
Thanks. Yeah, I know I could link to the products, but I wanted something simpler for the organization. Maybe it should be a Feature Request. So, if I'm shopping, and I Add To Cart with a particular organization, there should be an option to transfer cart to the organization's administrator agent.
