I keep getting set in some weird sort of loop. When I go to get my validation token so I can activate it with Microsoft for Azure utilization I keep getting this message "You have signed up with Techsoup.org as an individual member. You can be validated for Microsoft Product Donations after you register your NGO with Techsoup.org."
My nonprofit is already registered and qualified with Techsoup but for some reason it keeps asking me to do it. I did go through the registration process and it prompts to setup my organization that I've already got setup so now I am waiting for one of my accounts to get qualified even though it is a duplicate of one that is already qualified. I have no idea what is going on but I seem to not be able to get past this bit so I can keep moving onto the next stage of what I need to do.
Any insight and help would be welcomed. I also have another issue but I will create a separate post for that so information doesn't just get pilled up in this post.
Thanks in advance for any help!
I do have exactly the same problem. Where can I get the techsoup validation token?
The Validation Tokens are valid for 60 days, and can be generated from the TechSoup Website. The problem I am having is that I just had the website generate a new token for me, and when I input it at the Microsoft Nonprofits site, nothing happens.
If you are still having issues, hopefully the information in our Validation Token FAQ can assist. If you are still unable to get the help you need please reply to this thread.

I am unable to find a link anywhere to request a validation token. I have read the help page regarding this topic on the website. It refers to "choosing the appropriate link above" or some such, but there is no appropriate link that I can find. When viewing my account there is a menu choice for validation token, but it only loops back to the same help page that I already read.
I sent an email to the support address yesterday, but I have no way to know if it was received. (Have not gotten any reply.)
Can you help me know where the link is to request a validation token? Thank you
Head over to https://app.ngok.techsoupglobal.org/Tokens.aspx
It should ask you if you are already a member, click on that button and then log in with your TechSoup account. Then you should see your org, click on your org, and then there's a "Create Token" link/button.
I experience the same problem as others are mentioning and cannot find answers anywhere. There is no link for MS tokens on my Your Account > Validation Tokens page. It just says it's the Validation Token FAQ. The "TechSoup Validation Services that use validation tokens currently include" only has a link for "Google for Nonprofits".
Clicking Apricity_Administrator's techsoupglobal.org link lands on an error page.
Before a reseller told me I should be using the validation token, I was able to purchase licenses (core and CAL) for Windows Server from TechSoup. Those licenses appear in my MS Volume Licensing Service Center account and I am able to access them. In speaking with my regular reseller, I get the impression I went about this the wrong way, but I also don't see any other way to do it. If I can buy the licenses already, why do I need the token? Am I supposed to see a link for Microsoft, in addition to Google, on the Validation Tokens page?
1. Yes, the link appears to be broken now for some reason.
2. Microsoft no longer does validation tokens so it won't even matter. They stopped using validation tokens last year.
3. The only ones that do validation tokens, from what I can see, is Google. If you are using Google, just click on "Google for non-profits" hyperlink in the Validation Tokens FAQ screen (the screen you are directed to when you click on "Validation Tokens" in your Account dashboard.
4. TechSoup needs to update their information to reflect these changes but I remember having to mess around with all this stuff a year ago when I was renewing some things.
I appreciate you replying. I got on the phone with TechSoup customer service shortly after posting the message, yesterday. Some of our TS account details needed to be straightened out; the word "glitch" was used as a descriptive. They took care of that and then helped me understand the Microsoft Nonprofit eligibility procedure. Even though I already have MS charity licensing in place for other products, I needed to complete a step in that eligibility procedure. I'm hopeful that will take care of the issues I was experiencing.
I agree, too, that documentation needs to be updated. Even the procedure that was emailed to me after my phone call was not entirely correct. Thanks.
