I am treasurer for an artisans group that runs an art gallery for its members. All sales of the artwork go directly to the artist who then donates a portion back to the non-profit. I need to keep a record of the sales but don't know where to record it since it is not direct revenue to the non-profit. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to do this? Thanks
I've been hoping that someone who uses Quickbooks will respond, but so far we've both been disappointed. Have you tried the the QB Community? Here are some discussions about recording sales.
