  • Stock opinion is also
    available from Reger Enterprises, Inc.

In what state are you incorporated? What is the date of your incorporation?
  • We were incorporated in the State of Michigan on May the 5 of 2000.
  • As you probably know, qualified donations to a 501(c)3 are tax deductible for donors. Your status as a Michigan Corporation under the name Reger Enterprises, Inc. is as a Domestic Profit Corporation according to the public records. I understand that under some circumstances 501(c)3 status can be granted to a non-profit association (one that is not incorporated) so you might look into how you can do that without the expense of forming a new corporation. In any event you will probably need legal advice on how to set it up, writing the IRS tax exemption application, etc.
  • Thank you for that information, we will look into it. We
are also looking for a new C.E.O. The person has to
know how to write grants, be understanding, be able
to work with the disabled, and know how to run a
corporation, and know how to laugh. If you know anyone who is interested please let us know.
  • If you are looking for a CEO, you would get much better exposure if you posted a formal job posting in the Non-profit careers forum. Best of luck in your search.
