I was wondering if others had had the same issue with activating Microsoft Office 2019? My license was approved, and I downloaded the software through the Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center, but when I try to activate the software, I receive this error message: "There is a problem with your account. Try again later". The account credentials seem to work otherwise (I can login into the microsoft.com website).
The Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center Customer Service could not help, and directed me to the paying Microsoft Tech Support. If anybody has an idea of what I could do to activate my software, that would be great.
Did you get the license from TechSoup or somewhere else?
Here's what Microsoft suggests (resetting the keychain). Have you tried that?

I have the same problem "There is a problem with your account. Please try again later" and I´m going crazy, I did all the things I find on google (resetting the keychain too) and nothing seams to work. I got my license from TechSoup. I am trying to sign on my work account.
I have updated my OSX Mojave to 10.14.4, reset the keychain, and nothing... 5hs on this issue, I´m really frustrated
I have installed Microsoft 2019, then try with the 2016 version and the same issue persist
Hi, it took me a long time to solve this issue, because nothing seemed to work.
At the end I uninstalled Microsoft Office 2019, and installed it again. When installing it for the second time, I realized that I had previously missed a step, because it was kind of hidden in the volume licensing service center: installing theMicrosoft_Office_2019_VL_Serializer.pkg package.
To find the Serializer package, go to the Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center, then open the "Downloads and Keys" tab, then identify the product you want to download and click "Download". In the text that opens, under "Download Settings" there are two multi-choice menus and a "Continue" button. Click on "Continue" and the link with the Serializer will appear.
After having downloaded the Serializer, I was able to use Microsoft 2019!
I hope this will solve your issue too.
