Do you conduct a regular (maybe annual) technology assessment at your organization? How frequently do you do it? Is it just a tech inventory of your hardware and software or a broader assessment of all your vendors, policies, and tech infrastructure?
TechSoup has a soon-to-be-published article with tips on conducting a thorough tech assessment that will be up this week. The article includes a veritable mountain of worksheets that can be used as templates for different tech assessment needs. Do you have favorite resources to share to help assess your tech? Share them here!

The new article on assessing your technology is now live on our site. Aside from providing a bunch of great tips and questions to ask, there are 14 WORKSHEETS that can be downloaded, adapted and customized to your needs, and used to help you assess specific areas of your technology infrastructure, processes, and policies.
You can find the article with all the worksheets here: http://www.techsoup.org/learningcenter/techplan/page12082.cfm
I cannot locate the worksheets. Your link keeps taking me to the home page.
The article is from 2009, and the TechSoup web site has gone through a few redesigns at least since then that changed URLs of its pages.
