‘En Mi Idioma’ Allows Colombian Indigenous Communities to Contribute Online Language Lessons
Six indigenous communities in Columbia have been contributing language lessons, multimedia, and first-hand testimonials to an online platform called En Mi Idioma (In My Language). The project is a joint initiative between the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and the Colombian non-governmental organization Colnodo. To assist with writing in the language, the Emberá Chamí site also provides a virtual keyboard to reproduce letters that may not be available on some keyboards.

That's important work. I know Long Now has an effort to map some of the core of as many languages as possible. http://rosettaproject.org/ I'm glad there are people focused on cataloging this so it's not totally lost to time.
