A list of apps for accessibility from the Apple App store. There's an app that says it's a "Talking Camera for the Blind", another that says it "instantly recognizes currency and speaks the denomination," another that says it "allows the users to color recognition, detection of the light source and partially visually impaired people to use electronic loupe", and much more. Most, if not all, are for sight-impaired users. Most, if not all, are available only for Apple products.

Just saw this today and well there's already some sort of an accessibility feature on iPads and iPhones. But maybe these apps would help. Hope someone could actually make use of them and probably post reviews to help others. It'll be a good assistance to elderly and PWDs.
