AVID offer really nice educator discounts, but doesn't extend to non-profits that work with students and youth programs. Would be great to have them in the Tech Soup family!
Thanks for the suggestion! What do you find particularly helpful or desirable about the software?

Yesterday, we launched a new partnership with JourneyEd, which offers academic discount pricing on 1000's of software and hardware products, including some AVID titles. You can learn more here.

That’s great – however the product I am interested in indicates the non profits are not eligible (from the JourneyEd website). Would subscribing through Tech Soup change that?
Not all titles on the JourneyEd commercial site are available in the TechSoup e-store. The TechSoup store contains discounted products that have been approved for nonprofits and public libraries. And product availability and pricing is subject to change. Thanks for your interest in our new partnership with JourneyEd.
Is there a way to view availability on the Tech Soup e-store prior to subscribing?
Offer state of the art software for audio and video applications
SteveTrippe - We have provided some pricing examples in the JourneyEd product description. Full access to the TechSoup e-store requires requesting the product (this is how we validate 501c3 or library status). Thanks.
The product I am interested in is not on the examples list. We are a Tech Soup member. The Product is not available in the tech soup e-store. It is available in the Journey Ed store, however not for non profits. The question simply is that does the Tech Soup subscription to JourneyEd allow access to discounted pricing for Pro Tools?
The AVID product currently in the TechSoup e-store, is Sibelius. I do not see Pro Tools.
I search on Sibelius and only find the Blog comments and no link to the product. Do you still have it??
I know it can be complicated - but you first need to request JourneyEd ($10 admin fee opens the door to many special educational discounts for TechSoup users). Once you get access there, you'll find what you are looking for on their site.
Hope this helps

Was this question resolved? I am a nonprofit looking for access to Pro Tools, but the JourneyEd says that the year subscription is only for education institutions. Does the TechSoup membership give access to this program even though I cannot provide proof of school or student, but we are a non-profit?
Please confirm! Thanks!
Avid Technology Pro Tools 12 is now available at academic discount pricing in the TechSoup JourneyEd e-store. You can learn more about this e-store here.
The academic versions say something to the effect that you have to prove that you are a school or student how do we this as a nonprofit and not a school or student?
