Hi Baily, time for a monthly status check. Any updates on the conversion process?
Has anyone else's Settings/Subscription status changed to this? I noticed it now gives me an option to Upgrade when there has not been one. It use to say..We are not ready to upgrade customers like you..
Interesting! Ours hasn't changed but that is probably because we are on our accountant's QB account. Could this mean that there is now a way to upgrade without having to go through the whole rigamarole of downloading/uploading transactions or using a third party program?
I called and spoke with Techsoup. Apparently, we still cannot upgrade. They are hoping to have it ready in September. Guess I got excited for nothing. LOL Not really sure why mine changed, I'm guessing just a fluke.
thanks for checking. Too bad but I'm glad it's in the works.
At least your account shows you're subscribed! Mine shows "Not subscribed"! What's up with that????
While on the phone with a QBO agent I refreshed the page, and I now have what churchalivetriad reported earlier today:
FWIW, the Upgrade link points to https://c16.qbo.intuit.com/app/accountsettings?p=qbo_selfservice_billing#, but I'm waiting to hear more about what it ll means before clicking it.
As of today, I am receiving the message that I cannot add departments/classes or accounts since I am over the limit for my current plan. Please advise.
I am happy to know I am not the only one. I found it odd that mine would suddenly show that and no one else's did. I contacted QBO and they referred my back to Techsoup. Techsoup says the upgrade will be available in September. This is frustrating because I have a need to add several classes and now I can't as we are also over our limit in chart of accounts and classes.

I think what we are all seeing in the subscription area of the QBO accounts is Intuit working on the upgrade path. If anyone else sees a "Not Subscribed" status please post here and I will reach out via email to get further details, so that the team I am working with on the Intuit side can investigate.
Thank you for your patience!

I do not see the "Not Subscribed" status, however, I am now receiving a message if I try to add a department/class/account "You've outgrown your Quickbooks Online Plan"
Although I do not need to add anything at this moment, that possibility exists.
Please advise as I thought we would be good until the upgrade was ready for TechSoup users.
PLEASE, can we have an update on this? I need to change some account names per my finance committee and now that my Quickbooks Online chart of accounts is locked (due to limits exceeded) I cannot even do that. I have reached out to Techsoup multiple times as we were told limits would not be imposed on Techsoup clients until there was an upgrade available for us to proceed with moving over to advanced. PLEASE update us!!!
FWIW, I understood that when resource limits were imposed on QBO Plus we would not have existing resources (accounts, classes, locations) truncated but would not be able to create new ones. I created several dummy classes before the restriction went into effect and find now that I can use them, but can't change the names.
We have a path in place for those that have obtained QBO Plus through TechSoup and need Advanced. We will be reaching out to you directly to walk through this process over the phone, and I have added your information to our outreach list.
For anyone else that has an existing TechSoup QBO Plus account that needs to upgrade please let me know! This is not for retail subscriptions, only those that have the TechSoup QBO account.
Thank you, Everyone for your patience!
