Can Techsoup please offer Quickbooks Online Advanced ?
Seconded! We are being forced to upgrade due to the number of classes we use and it is approximately 4 times the price of our current QB online plan!
I came here looking for info on the same thing! Because of how our chart of accounts was set up years before I ever started working for my organization, we now have almost 700 accounts and it's still growing. I would either be forced to upgrade at Inuit's regular market price, or I would have to completely start over without the 10+ years of historical data contained in my records. I would gladly pay a higher admin fee to TechSoup or even possibly subscribe to Boost to access QuickBooks Online Advanced. We just converted to online last year, so it's really frustrating that Intuit is putting limits on their subscription tiers.
I wanted to share that we are researching this idea with TechSoup and we will provide more details as soon as we are able. Mindy (Intuit)
Thank you! I'm sure many nonprofits are in the same boat - due to the way we often have to track income and expenses by particular grants we end up with many many accounts and classes.
I would like to add our school to the mix -- we are a small Catholic school with a large number of G/L accounts and having to pay the large increase would be difficult -- we currently do not subscribe through techsoup but would like to if there is a discount in place -- Please keep us posted --
I would also like to suggest that TechSoup and Intuit consider waiving the "only one donation per fiscal year" rule because this will put many of us in an impossible bind. We made the switch to QBO in August 2018, so by current policy, we won't be eligible to buy another Inuit product until after July 1, 2019, but this change that Intuit is making will take effect this fiscal year. There is simply no way I can reduce the number of accounts I use. I will be forced to go back to the desktop version if something can't be worked out before then.
YES PLEASE before the April 10 cutover. Imposing usage limits will make my QBO subscription useless.
Thank you for your note!
We are always working with our donor partners to be able to provide the latest products to nonprofits, so we will continue to work with Intuit on this.

Please Add my vote to offer QuickBooks Online - Advanced. As a Non-profit, we offer many programs in differs geographical areas, so we require many more classes - locations than the 40 allowed with QBO - Plus. And the default expence from Intuit is more than my organization can afford.
Thanks you for the opportunity to submit these kinds of requests
We are always working with our donor partners to make the most recent products available to nonprofits, so we will keep working with Intuit to see what we are able to provide.
Techsoup please work with Intuit to offer Quickbooks Online Advanced. We are current subscribers to QB Online Plus, but are being forced to move to the Advanced platform. But the $160/month is a tremendous hit to our already strained budget.
Thank you for voicing this need!
We are working with Intuit to help provide the best resolution to this situation, and we hope to have more information to share with you soon. Please know when working with Intuit on this we are considering all aspects of how this affects your organization's including the issue raised about allotment.
We value all feedback that you are providing!

A few of my nonprofit clients will eventually be forced into moving from QuickBooks Plus to Quickbooks Advanced. Their price will jump from $50 a year through TechSoup to $150 a month through Quickbooks Subscriptions.
Please help us out! I am loathe to having to recommend these clients move to a new accounting system.
Yes, Please, please, please add Quickbooks Online Advanced as an upgrade for us before the April deadline !
