Are there any plans to offer Cisco (formally Meraki) access points, switches and security appliances as well as licensing? I know large enterprises can get 50% off their MSRP (list price on their website) if they buy large volumes of Cisco products. I currently use all 3 of their hardware products and it's an easy way to consolidate your wireless, security and switching and manage it from a single pane. I still currently use Cisco ASA products for VPN but am considering the move to their Meraki line because you can do an easy DVPN if you have multiple ISP as well as iWAN to aggregate ISP such as MPLS for your site to site and Cable/DSL for internet traffic with the 3rd option of cellular backup.
I know shopping around with other vendors you can get close to 40% off MSRP with Meraki hardware but it would be nice to see it on here with less of a dollar cap you can spend.
Thanks for this feedback. I will pass along your request to Cisco.

Yes - Would love to see this.
Any update from Cisco when/if Meraki equipment will be available for nonprofits via TechSoup?
Sorry, but nothing to report on adding Meraki to the Cisco program. Ruckess Wireless is available at academic discount pricing through our partnership with JourneyEd. You can learn more here.
We are very happy to share that Cisco Meraki has made their products available at a deep discount to the nonprofit community through TechSoup! Please follow this link to view the products currently being offered: https://www.techsoup.org/cisco-meraki
Please note that organizations who have received a Cisco donation in the last 3 months, or who plan to request a Cisco donation in the next 3 months are not eligible to request products through this program.
We will be adding additional products to the catalog, and expanding to US territories in the coming year. Please let us know if you have any feedback!

Great addition. Glad to hear you will be adding more products. The MX64W Wireless security device would be great for the small branch offices.
It's great that you have started to offer Meraki products. Our church has been using Meraki products for years and plan to continue using them when we need to expand. Here are some other products that would be helpful to us.
Licenses for Meraki products: MS220-8P-3YR, MS220-24P-3YR, MS220-48-3YR, MX65-ENT-3YR, ENT-3YR, MS120-8LP-3YR
Other Meraki products: MS120-8 LP, MR45, MR52,
I'm glad you are excited about our ability to have Meraki here on TechSoup too! I've let the team know about your specific product requests. If they can be added, I'll be sure to let you know!
Thanks for writing!

Thank you for your feedback on the Cisco Meraki for Nonprofits program!
We will be adding new products to the TechSoup catalog in the coming months, and it is helpful to learn that 3 year versions of the licenses may be beneficial to the sector. Also it is great to hear there is interest in the smaller Switching products. We will be launching several new Access Points in the coming months – starting with the MR33, possibly being followed by the MR52!
In the meantime, TechSoup is not limited to processing requests for the Meraki products on our website only. Requests to order products not on our site can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please let us know if you have any questions!

Thank you for the kudos! We're really excited about Meraki too
We will be adding new products to the TechSoup catalog in the coming months, and the MX64W looks like it could be a great addition due to its combination of Wireless, Security, and SD-WAN.
Thank you again for the feedback!
First off, thank you for bringing Meraki into TechSoup. I have always loved this system and find that, when budget allows, its a great platform.
That said, the much anticipated arrival of Meraki came with a resounding 'thud'. The pricing model just is not compelling when both hardware and licensing can be had at the same price or less if you shop around the open market. Granted its nice to be able to get Meraki in the same place that we get other software and services but, when we deal with Non-Profits that are looking to conserve every dime, its hard to buy Meraki through TS based on cost.
Thank you for your post and for the opportunity to respond!
TechSoup strives to provide a wide range of technology to the sector at the best possible pricing. Over the years our donation programs have been able to do this very well, however things are changing with many of the companies that we work with. In some cases we are able to secure full (but always limited) donations, but more frequently these companies are offering “normal” reseller discounts - and that may be why you are seeing prices that are closer to what may be offered by others.
It is important to compare apples-to-apples. All Meraki products in our catalog include one year of technical support, and we offer discounted renewals. Below you will find a comparison of pricing offered through TechSoup compared with pricing offered through the for-profit reseller Corporate Armor.
Rest assured that TechSoup continues to be 100% focused on supporting the nonprofit sector, both in the US and globally, with the best available offers for technology. While in some cases our prices may be similar to those you find through other vendors, we remain committed to making TechSoup a valuable resource to the sector with free articles, webinars, and discounted services. Your continued support ensures that the entire breadth of TechSoup programs will benefit over a million NGOs worldwide.
