TechSoup is proud to announce our newest donor partner, Litmos. The Litmos learning management system (commonly known as an LMS) lets you create online courses and host them on Litmos' website. Learners can access the material from wherever they happen to be, on any web-connected computer or mobile device.
Litmos is offering eligible organizations 50 percent off their regular rates on any of their tiers of service. See the product page for details.
If you need to train employees or volunteers, you can record the training and place it online, where it can be accessed from anywhere with a web connection. If your organization produces educational materials, you can offer them online either for a fee or at no charge.
Courses consist of modules. For each module you create, you upload one type of content, such as PowerPoint, Flash, video, or audio. Litmos automatically optimizes the module for playback on computers, tablets, and mobile phones. You can attach downloadable reference documents in other formats such as Word and PDF.

In assessment modules, you can create quizzes and exams. You have the option to require your learners to pass them before they proceed to a new module.
You can assign courses to teams as well as to individuals and then assign leaders to the teams. Reports let you keep track of individual trainee progress and compare the results of teams within your organization.
