It's the eternal question at nonprofits and charities: where do you find new donors?
On August 22, we will be joined by Manmeet Mehta from GlobalGiving to learn how to identify your donor and support networks through exercises in network mapping.
GlobalGiving is a charity fundraising web site that gives social entrepreneurs and nonprofits from anywhere in the world a chance to raise the money that they need to improve their communities.
Manmeet builds new social sector partnerships and runs the Crowdsourcing Social Innovation program. This program invites social entrepreneurs to experiment with, deepen and integrate online fundraising strategies in their organizations' activities. Her work includes building new partnerships with youth social entrepreneurs through programs at GlobalGiving. With a background in Economics and graduate degrees in International Relations ( M.A) as well as Business Administration (M.B.A), Manmeet has over 7 years of experience in the private and philanthropic sectors in India and the US. Between 2002 and 2005 she worked with HSBC, The Taj Group & the Khemka Foundation in India. She has previously worked with Ashoka in Washington, DC.
