Apps are a powerful
way for everyday people to act for social good, making their lives, and the
lives of their communities, stronger. That's why TechSoup Global, NetSquared
and Microsoft teamed up to launch the Windows
8 Apps for Social Good Contest last November. From
this amazing, diverse
pool of entries three winners were
chosen based on the impact and benefit that these apps can bring to the world.
The TechSoup Digital Storytelling Contest is here! All
April long, we’ll provide your organization with training and resources to tell its story digitally. Then
you’ll create a short video (up to 90 seconds) or a five-image slide show to
enter the challenge and win prizes donated by our sponsors. Join in on the

For the past few years, TechSoup
for Libraries has been part of the Edge Initiative, an effort to
create benchmarks and tools that support continuous improvement and drive
investment toward public access technology. In addition to the Edge Initiative,
TechSoup for Libraries has been highlighting public libraries across the United
States that use technology in innovative ways.

Hello I'm new to this site. I find it very incouraging especially in the non-profit field. I am taking a Grad class and would like to welcome myself to the blog. I have a nonprofit organization entitiled FACTS Inc. The acronym stands for Fighting Apartheid ConfrontationTransformation Systems. This is a nonprofit organization geared towards uplifting the grassroots of racism in Washington, D.C. and all around the around the world.
