Do you want to know how other nonprofits use Microsoft products to create innovative brochures, presentations, and other fundraising materials? Don’t forget to check out the third webinar in our Microsoft Tips & Tricks series on Thursday, June 21 at 11 a.m., How Real Nonprofits Fundraise with Microsoft.
During this webinar, we'll be hearing from nonprofits that have used tools and resources from Microsoft to assist in their fundraising efforts. The speakers include Paula Lucas at the Americans Overseas Domestic Violence Crisis Center and Shari Sewell, executive director of Northwest Hope & Healing.
The Americans Overseas Domestic Violence Crisis Center works with Americans living in foreign countries who are struggling with abuse, providing "domestic violence and child abuse advocacy, resources and tools so that they can navigate the complicated jurisdictional, legal and social international landscapes, to be able to live their lives free of abuse either in the foreign country or back in the United States." (For more information, check out their mission statement.) Our speaker, Paula Lucas, will be discussing how the organization has used various Microsoft products in their fundraising efforts. These products include Microsoft Visual Studio, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Northwest Hope & Healing was founded by a breast cancer survivor and provides financial assistance to women in need who are battling breast cancer and gynecological cancer. Northwest Hope & Healing's executive director, Shari Sewell, will be sharing samples created through Microsoft tools including letterheads, presentations, and brochures for various fundraising efforts, such as their recent Style '12 Fashion Show Benefit.
Near the end of this webinar, we will also be including additional information on the TechSoup Microsoft Software Donation Program, including where to find Microsoft products on the TechSoup website.
We will be providing live captions for this event. If you would like more information, please contact webinars [at] techsoupglobal [dot] org.
